FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes. Fury uses the exact same pattern and sizing as our Fierce race suit. If you know your size in Fierce, you can confidently order the same size in Fury. The cut, proportions, and overall fit are consistent. The only difference is the design details, not the sizing.

Yes! This truly is designed by women racers, for women racers. We started from scratch with a woman's pattern, one that has room for bust, hips and the curves that us women have. We know everyone is shaped a bit differently, and recommend that you consult the size chart and use the largest size that corresponds with your measurements.

For example, if the size chart recommends a medium for the hips, but a large for the bust, you would choose a large.

Yes. Fury is certified to SFI 3.2A/5 standards for professional level fire protection. It's a two-layer Nomex fabric.

No. The Fury suit is offered exclusively in SFI 3.2A/5. It was intentionally designed for drivers who want a higher level of protection and a more performance-driven suit.

If you are looking for an entry-level SFI 3.2A/1 option, our 'Fierce' collection may be a better fit.

An SFI 3.2A/1 suit provides basic fire protection and is commonly used by entry-level drivers or in lower-risk racing environments. These suits are typically made from FR-treated cotton, meaning the fabric itself is cotton with a flame-resistant coating applied to the surface. Over time, that treatment can degrade with use and washing, and in some cases protection may begin to diminish after repeated laundering.

An SFI 3.2A/5 suit, like Fury, is designed for higher heat exposure and longer protection times (about 3x longer). It is constructed from Nomex, a material with fibers that are inherently flame resistant. The fire protection is built into the fabric itself and does not wash out or degrade over time. SFI 3.2A/5 suits also use additional layers to significantly increase the amount of time before heat transfer reaches the skin.

If you are racing more frequently, competing at higher speeds, or simply want added protection and long-term confidence, upgrading from SFI 3.2A/1 to SFI 3.2A/5 is a meaningful step. Fury was created for drivers who want that next level of protection without sacrificing fit, mobility, or confidence on track.

Because Fury is currently available as a pre-order, your suit will ship once the first production run is complete. Estimated ship timing will be shared as production progresses, and you will receive updates along the way but we anticipate them shipping to customers by March 31st.

Pre-ordering secures your place in the first run so your suit is ready ahead of race season, before inventory is available for immediate shipment.

Fury is designed with a tailored women’s fit. Please consult the size chart at the top of the product page. If you are between sizes or unsure, we recommend reaching out before ordering so we can help guide you to the best fit. You can send an email to cs@racechick.com for any questions.

Exchanges are supported based on availability once suits arrive. The first production run is intentionally limited to 50 customer orders to give us enough stock to help ensure sizing exchanges can be accommodated.

If you have questions about sizing before placing your order, our team is always happy to help guide you to the best fit. Please send an email to cs@racechick.com for any sizing questions.
